Prologue

I miss the good old days when developers provided actual demos of their upcoming games. I remember playing the Starship Troopers demo way too many times, just because it looked cool. It made me wait for the actual game, and it was a joy to see that the demo mission was an actual mission in the final product.
Always free prologue
I promise that the prologue will always be free on all my platforms. I wouldn't call it a pure demo; rather, I want an introduction that offers lore and gameplay rather than just a game cut.
The prologue does have some ideas that I cut from the chapters 1-3 designs. I wanted to implement them in some play, partially because I already did the graphics and story. They just didn't fit in the later chapters, so I made them into a prologue.
Release date
I aim to release the prologue in June 2026, then follow in 6-9 months release intervals. I'm writing the story and the renders in advance. I have researched the community and understood that long delays are a constant source of critique.
I want to test the waters and commit to a 6-9 months release schedule. 6 months is the minimum, 9 months the maximum. It's better to keep the game structured and stick to the plan than let it bloat too much.
