Two ships are prepared. Tau Ceti I, located 11.9 light-years away, has been allocated, remotely surveyed, and officially recorded. The convoy will depart within months, during the current Window.* There are 344,900 berths available; this is not merely an expedition, but the foundation of a new civilization.
Applicants will remain in stasis during the journey. Each registrant must agree, before departure, to the terms that will govern life upon arrival. This agreement is formalized in the charter, which must be ratified before departure.†
The Directorate invites all Alliance registrants to review the annexes below and submit applications while the Window remains open. While you may not have chosen your birthplace, you now have the opportunity to choose your future.
